We scored a ride into Santa Cruz this morning with Elliot. It was our first trip into the town without taking the bus. What a luxury that was. Elliot had to get some gas and take care of business and we hitched a ride to get more groceries. It's nice to not have to worry about carrying all of those groceries home from the bus stop in the dark. We loaded up. We got cheese, and ground beef, and yogurt for our granola. We are living the high life this week. Plus, Elliot showed us the place to get our fruits and vegetables for the future. I even bought lettuce for salads. I have been craving a salad. All in all, we are eating wonderful here and I could live on rice and beans. Oh wait, I am.

The girls, now that they have found the boys to hang out with, are nowhere to be seen. The boys have been getting out of school at 10 or so because it's testing week for them. Then next week the girls will be lonely. Liad and Idan are taking a surf trip with their parents and heading to Panama for a week. What will the girls do without them? They're already talking about it. To funny.

Tonight, Elliot is making pizza for us for dinner. Us, Liad, Idan and their parents. Elliot is a chef. He went to school in Italy and also at a Cordon Bleu Culinary School in CA. We couldn't be more excited about dinner tonight. I know what a huge treat it is going to be. I'll never take Friday night pizza at home for granted again. Sometimes we burn ourselves out on it and get tired of the same ol' pizza on Friday nights. Time to change our ways so we don't get like that. It's silly.

Jack took a quick ride out to the lot to check and see if any fence posts got dug today. Tomorrow he's suppose to get to the Fereteria for the fence materials. But if the holes aren't dug, no need to get ahead of ourselves.
The pictures are of the kids last night during the power outage. Jack is sitting in our kitchen by candlelight.
